Gründung 1883.

Ab 1933 Lizenzproduktion von Imperial-Stassfurt-Geräten. Vertrieb durch Alpa-Radio Zürich.

Ab 1936/37 erlischt der Lizenzvertrag - Thorens fabriziert bis 1940 eigene Radios.

Ab 1946 übernimmt man ein Projekt von Tavaro SA, Genf. Dieses führt 1949 zur Anlage «New Century», die man bis 1957 besonders im Ausland verkauft.
