Brand: Royal Record

Royal Record was a brand of RBC in Tongeren. There are a few models that show both Royal Record and RBC on the type plate.

According to Brecht Bostyn's publication "De ontluiking, opkomst en bloei van de Belgische radio-elektrische nijverheid [...]" the brand was brought to Radio-Transactions in 1937.

Main distributor was Radio-Flandre.

History:

Radio-Transactions was founded on 31 May 1937 by Maurice Beaupain, Jules Baudout, Gaston Hackmans, Joseph Goffin, Eugène and Jules Vanderstraeten, and Gaston Jadoul.

Beaupain and Goffin brought the brand Royal Record (presumably from RBC) into the company, for which both of them received 20 shares.

This manufacturer was suggested by Mark Hippenstiel.
