Founded 1945 in Milan by Guiseppe Brion and Ing. Pajetta as Società B.P.M.

Initially they produced radio parts, but in the 1950s they began production of radios under the Vega brand. At that time they named themselves BP Radio.

In the 1960s the name changes to Radio-Vega Television and then to Brionvega.

Good design is no longer simply for an "elite" but is demanded by a far wider audience interested in continuous development. With so many designs and products available, how is it possible to distinguish a truly outstanding design from one that is simply trendy. Oggi, l'interesse per il design non è più esclusivo di una ristretta elite, ma é caratteristico di un pubblico sempre più vasto che ne segue attentamente lo sviluppo. Come fare, però, per distinguere nella moltitudine di prodotti ed articoli di design, l'oggetto veramente autentico che non conosce nè mode nè tendenze?
Hannes Wettstein, Mario Bellini, Richard Sapper, Marco Zanuso, i fratelli Castiglioni ed Ettore Sottsass, designer di fama mondiale, rispondono a questa domanda: le loro creazioni per Brionvega concretizzano la ricerca da parte dell'uomo di oggetti che si distinguono per una bellezza che si pone al di fuori e al di là di ogni moda.
