Summary:

Belcher Ltd.
4 Bayer Street, London, EC1 (1932)

Belcher Ltd. specialised in the Manufacture of Westminster brand high-grade battery radio sets in the early 1930s. [1]

Advertising indicates Belcher Ltd. was short-lived and because Westminster was thought to be as “British as Big Ben” the brand was used in later years by a variety of other manufacturers and retailers.

In the early 1930s, Westminster Electric Supply Corp. Ltd. displayed AC/DC superheterodyne radios at their showrooms at 112 Victoria Street, London SW1. [2]

Stones Radio & Television and later Currys are known retailers of the Westminster brand.

These later Westminster brand products were manufactured by other companies.
