Crowe Name Plate and Manufacturing Company, 1749 Grace St., Chicago, Ill. See the "Radio Trade Directory 1925", p.86 and 93, for metal panels. On Apr 13, 1926, Crowe received a patent for an etching process for metal radio panels for dial markings and a leatherette look. Manufactured the radio panel for the circa '26 Beckley-Ralston radios with CP in the lower left corner, possibly manufactured the complete set. Supplied radios for Silvertone using code 128. Also sold by Radolek, Chicago (Catalog 1938). Supplied front panels to different radio companies, also manufactured airplane instruments and automobile spotlights as "Cro-Beam". Held several radio related patents for front panels, escutcheons, glass dials and tuner mechanisms, 20's and 30's.

Sometime before 1905 the company was called the Crowe Metal Manufacturing Company and then the Crowe Name Plate and Engraving Company until at least 1921. By 1925 (according to a.m. radio Trade Directory 1925), it was called the Crowe Name Plate and Manufacturing Company and was in business until after WWII. They were an exhibitor in the Radio Manufacturer's Association's trade show in Chicago, June 3-7, 1929.
