History: Founded in 1932, the name UCOA is believed to have been taken from the initials of the lastnames of the four founders. The company started as a manufacturer of speakers and quickly moved into transformers and chokes. By 1948 they were manufacturing a complete line of radio and products, including speakers, transformers, chokes, antenna and oscillator coils, IF transformers and tunning capacitors.
