Dear Forum

I just got a Philips car radio, alas no identification.

It´s a mono transistor radio. It has a strange slim form, only half the size of a standard car-radio. It is probably around 1970.

I found 3 transistors (might be more)

BC108, TJA0120 and TJA0122
LW and MW

Does anyone know a product number?
Attached 2 pics

Appreciated

Hello Arjen,

this would be the RN370, new in season 1970/71. The full number is 22RN370. The Radiola equivalent model is RA307T. It seems to have been in production only for one season, at least I cannot find further mentions.

The model pictured in the catalog has a slightly differing front panel, but the identification should be fairly certain.

Would you be so kind as to create the model and upload your pictures? I will provide additional data and also create the Radiola model, for which a full service documentation is available. It should be applicable to the Philips model in almost all aspects.

Note that the original Radiola service doc pictures the Philips version, which is closer to your model. My interpretation is that the Philips catalog shows a preliminary or early design of the front panel, or a different version (suffix).

Thanks Mark

I added ´solved´ to the original title. I´ll submit the pictures and create the new model. Has been a while since I did that so It will show some mistakes at start.

regards

Arjen
