Greetings Gentlemen, Does any member know if the chassis of the "Freudenstadt Stereo 11 International" variant has the 7-pin socket or the 9-pin socket to receive the optional FM Stereo decoder? Respectfully, Robert Sarbell |

Hello Mr. Sarbell, Freudenstadt 200 ( 11 int) use the 7 pin Adaptersocket, its a tube_adapter (ECC82, ECF80) see here: http://www.radiomuseum.org/forum/saba_multiplex_adapter_12_und_weitere_stereo_decoder.html and than: http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/saba_stereo_decoder_ei_usi_14.html Regards Hans M.Knoll This article was edited 26.Sep.05 06:42 by Hans M. Good afternoon Herr Knoll, Thank you so much for your help with the references. Presently, I do not have the Saba mpx adapter 12; but I have a functional Telefunken MPX-adapter which I have considered to use as "suitable replacement"- it uses the ECF80 and ECC808 tubes. The Telefunken adapter also uses the 7-pin socket; however, the "stereo indicator lamp" is activated through an additional transistor, and is placed on a small printed circuit board with the EM84 tuning indicator. The adapter also has a short, shielded 2-wire cable that connects to the "stereo indicator lamp". Respectfully, Robert Sarbell |
