Hello tube collectors,

I have a questions to a tube, I assume it is a Arcturus.  The tube is printed with a "S" on the socket and the glass ic coloured blue.  Does any one know this tube or has some facts or data ?

Please take a look to the photos.

With greetings

Gerd Junginger

Hello Mr. Junginger,

it looks like a Arcturus 37A. The mostly unclear stamp is on a odd place. It is on the side in the upper part of the bulb.

Best regards,  H.-T. Schmidt

Dear Mr.Schmidt,

thanks for your answer. I made a test on my tubetester and the tube was tested fine as a 37A / 137A. The only thing which is confusing, is the printing "S".

Kind Regards

Hello Mr. Junginger,

Arcturus had a trade mark "Sonora". It is possible, that the S means it.
