When I try to upload a picture a prompt tells me that the "file name is too short", but there is no entry line for file name. I don't understand.

Hello Michael,

thank you for your question and welcome to Radiomuseum!

Maybe you've tried to upload a picture "straight out of the camera"? The filename shall be defined when storing the (processed) picture at your computer's hard drive. In RMorg we have a simple method how to organize the picture's file name.

It shall consist of the following parts:

  1. Country
  2. Manufacturer
  3. Model/type name/designation
  4. Kind of picture (front, back, dial, inside, chassis...)

An example. We chose  usa_hallicrafters_s38c_front.jpg  to show the front (or slightly angled) view of the model.

The dimensions can be up to 1400 (width) x 2100 pixel (height) to preserve fine details. 600kb is the max. allowed file size.

Good luck!

Bernhard
