The museum is located next to Arborfield garrison just off Biggs lane. Approximately 4 miles from Wokingham and 8 miles from Reading.

By Public Transport

The nearest railway station is at Wokingham. This is located on the line from Waterloo to Reading and takes approximately 1 hour from Waterloo and 15 minutes from Reading. Buses run from Wokingham and Reading Stations to the Garrison, as detailed below. Taxis are also available from Wokingham Station at a cost of approximately £6 each way.

Description

The Mission of the REME Museum of Technology is to:

Preserve the heritage of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers
To promote a broader understanding of the functions of the Corps, its interaction with society and its role of technical support to the Army
Provide an information source for members of the Corps, the public, researchers and educationalists
Collect, conserve, display and interpret objects relevant to this mission
