    BC cordless mantel radio having seven transistors and two germanium diodes. Cabinet colours: cherry, charcoal, cinnamon, flamingo and grey. (Also Wedgewood, Spruce, Wattle, Willow & Squirrel)

    Features: inbuilt Ferrite rod aerial; provision for external aerial and earth. Speaker: 5"; power output 500 mW; push-pull Class B output (two OC740. Operates from one Eveready Type 276P battery, estimated life about 350 hours. Large all Australian stations dial. (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)

    This model has a diecast fascia which makes it much heavier than the later models which use the same case back.

    The ferrite rod aerial is quite large at 8 inches (205 MM) which contributes to this set's good performance.
