One dial (primary tuning control knob)
A larger version of the very popular Model 40. It has a switch to control the gain of the added tuned circuit. The radio is very sensitive and works very well with the E-type speaker.
Beautiful set, with original globe-type tubes. The 4 tuning capacitors are controlled together by one knob and they track the AM band quite well. The coils are of a \binocular\ type. Series resistors with the grids are used to avoid oscillation.
