  • Export version of Ever Ready Skyscraper L26 (which has LW instead of one of the SW bands).

IF sensitivity 15uV, about x10 better than typical DK92 DF91 DAF91 DL94 models due to an extra RC coupled DF96 IF amp. DK92 gives better SW performance than DK96 (DK96 might not work at 22 MHz) and DL94 is up to twice the power of DL96 (louder).

    Uses B103 Combo battery LT 250mA, HT 12.5mA, DL94 Ia=5.88mA

    Wavebands

    • MW 550 to 1770 kHz
    • SW  Three bands

    There is no LW.

This model, the Ever Ready Skyscraper, Ever Ready Spacemaster (=1954 BEREC Skyscraper II), Sky Monarch & Sky Monarch AM/FM are all in a similar style deluxe cabinet with 8" speaker. Colour of trim and knobs varies.

Other than Ever Ready purchasing Lissen, there is no connection to the 1930s Lissen Skyscraper series. 508 x 305 x 254

Date is release date for the Ever Ready Skyscraper. There is no printed evidence of the BEREC brand being used by Ever Ready for radios before 1954.
