  • An exceptionally large pre-war AC mains 5 band table radio housed in a wooden case. With a magic eye tuning indicator, a Motor Tuning Unit controlled by 12 station selector buttons operative on all 5 wavebands permitting easy adaption to individual radio station requirements except for television sound which remains permanently set. A further feature is the use of two extra sets of four push buttons controlling tone control and the switching of gramophone pickup, motor tuning, manual tuning and automatic frequency control. For manual tuning, there is a slow motion tuning knob with fast tuning buttons either side giving clockwise or anticlockwise movement of the tuning pointer. With sockets for extension loudspeaker and gramophone pickup.  Price in 1938 18 guineas.
