  • Notes
  • The Emerson Model 644C is different from the Emerson Model 644 because it uses only 2 knobs while the model 644 uses 4 knobs.

The difference is explained in the Emerson Service Manual for Models 614 637 644 647. " The models have been revised both mechanically and electrically. The major mechanical change is the conversion to two dual controls in the place of the original arrangement of four dual controls. Such models and the chassis are identified by the subscript C or BC, as for example model 644C."

The 644C model uses the same CRT tube 12LP4 as the 644 model.
