  • Might be almost identical case to Lissen 8453. Same chassis. The Lissen 8417 is based on same chassis but has no presets
    Rotary tuning scale
    7 preset stations on individually tuned push buttons. 1st button is On/Off
    5 buttons are 3 overlapping parts of MW (BC) and 2 buttons cover two overlapping parts of LW.
    A four way rotary switch selects between LW, MW, SW and one of the seven preset stations.
    There is a basic tone control.

    Rear connections:
    There is provision for an external speaker, but appears to be for type including a transformer as it's on the V4 Anode to HT!
    Earth, and two aerial inputs (A1= weak and A2 = strong).
    Gram (P.U.): No switch, so unplug aerial! The chassis is isolated.
