  • Notes
  • The PP series are all layer cells, often 4  or 6 stack of exact type used in "Batrymax"/"Radio Batteries HT packs (typically 4 x stacks of 15 "biscuit" style cells). There never was a PP2.

Connection type: PP9 style snap but much smaller spacing

    Perhaps up to 2500mAH at 10mA load. About 1/2 capacity/size of PP9

    Equivalents:

    • GEC BB27
    • Vidor T6007
    • Others: DT7, TR7, VT7

Quite commonly used  in 1960s and in 2012 occasionally still available from specialist shops at premium price. 6 x Alkaline AAA in a holder is a better solution for replication than a PP3 (Alkaline AAA over 1000mAH vs 460mAH or 590mAH for PP3 at low drain).
