Anfangszeit und erste Rundfunkzeit: Kopfhörer, die man bald mechanisch durch Trichter oder Relais (Brown) verstärkt, um darauf Trichterlautsprecher und bald auch magnetische Systeme zu verwenden. Ab 1932 gibt es bessere magnetische LS, sog. Freischwinger (nicht zuvor!) - bald auch niederohmige dynamische Systeme, die sich dann durchsetzten.
