  • The General Electric GE-83 is an AC operated 7 tube LW, BC and SW receiver. Uses Qty(2) #46 dial lamps. Has 4 position tone control.  Also has 8 to 1 fast tuning and 40 to 1 fine tuning control.

    Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
    LW Band ("A" Band).............140 - 400 kHz
    BC Band ("B" Band)..............540 - 1600 kHz
    SW Band ("D" Band).............6.0 - 18.0 MHz
