Die Tonbandgeräte TK 340 und TK320 unterscheiden sich weder in Aussehen noch in ihrer Schaltung. Der Unterschied besteht lediglich in Hör-Sprech- und Löschkopf. Während beim TK320 - bedingt durch die Halbspur-Stereo-köpfe - das Band nur in eine Richtung benutzt werden muß, kann es beim TK 340 (Viertelspur-Stereo) am Bandende einfach umgedreht und in die andere Richtung noch einmal bespielt werden.
