  • The tube data from putkiradiomuseo.wippiespace.com are dubious:

    Two different Power tubes with high filament current
    EL33   0.9 A
    6F6G   0.7 A

    one thereof may be used as rectifier (?). But a series filament circuit must bear the highest current involved, i.e. 0.9 A! That means ~200 Watt. If we subtract the real complete filament power of < 15 W, then the remaining power of 185 W must be dissipated by series/shunt resistors.

    All that points to an makeshift repair.
    The original tube lineup was certainly different. Most probably has been EL32 and CY31, altogether a 0.2 A circuit = 44 W. Minus 10 W for the tube filaments only the remaining 34 W must be dissipated by the resistor. That is a usual figure for an AC/DC set at 220 V mains.
