  • The Kriesler Mini 41-47 has a rectangular dial scale, earphone jack, AF/AC type transistors. The Kriesler Mini was designed by Harry Widmer the design director at the Kriesler Radio Co of Sydney then owned by Phillips. He won the prestigious F H Edwards Laurel award for this model by designing a polypropylene plastic case the judges noting it was the first such application of this material used in the manufacture of a portable radio worldwide the year was 1966. The rear of the radio is identical to the front having a dummy speaker grille with the words Kriesler Mini, giving the appearance of a speaker front & back. 6 Ohm speaker and earphone socket fro 7 to 15 Ohm earphones.
