They have Automatic Volume Control, a 3-gang tuning condenser with an airplane dial, continuously variable tone control and a mantel cabinet. The model A-81 has the following bands: 18 - 50 m short wave, 75 - 200 m and BC is 200 - 550 m. The A-81L has a band covering wavelengths between 850 - 2000 meters substituted for the 75 to 200 m.
