It has 5 wave bands, Automatic Volume Control (AVC), a 3-gang tuning condenser for a pre selector stage, reduction drive airplane dial, continuously variable tone control and a mantel cabinet. The model A-84 is not listed at Rider's. It has the following bands: 13 - 30 m and 30 - 75 m short wave, 75 - 200 m and BC is 200 - 550 m as well as long wave for 850 - 2000 m.
