A text from the catalog: "Lafayette's exclusive development - The Armored nerve center - rivals the human brain as a master control unit - it is your guarantee of perfect radio reception." The sensitivity on the broadcast band is 1 microvolt, on the 75 - 200 m band 2 microvolts, on the 30 - 75 meter band 2 microvolts, and on the 14 - 30 meter band 3 microvolts. The selectivity provides full 10 kc separation without affecting the tone quality in the slightest degree due to a side band cutting. Class "A" prime audio amplifier having an output of 12 watts. The overall response of the set from 60 to 5000 cycles is from plus 1 dB to minus 10 dB. The improved airplane type dial is four inches in diameter over all and is brightly illuminated when the set is turned on. The turning ratio of the dial is 12 to 1.

The F-58 (chassis for 110, 220 and 240 volts 25 - 60 cycles with addl. long waves) has a list price of $ 115.50 and Lafayette asks for $ 57.75. See details for the models of this catalog or summaries.
