  • Notes
  • The Lloyd's FabuLLOYD'S Hipster (Flipster) 8R29 is an early 1970's groovy psychedelic, multi-colored transistor radio designed for the "Hippy" crowd.

It features a white/ivory plastic case with chrome metal side panel, various colored plastic edge and battery cover, and a multi-colored cloth edge trim and wrist strap.  It also has an earphones jack.  The edge/battery plastic cover may be orange/red, yellow, blue, black, and maybe more.

The psychedelic font used for the "Hipster" name can be misread as "Flipster".

The AM version of this radio is the FabuLLOYD'S Hippy (Flippy) 8K38.
