    A) Scheda madre.

    Working principle

The instrument consists of three distinct sections.
    A) Motherboard. It uses a microprocessor to generate, manage the functions and commands to be sent to the electrodes of the tube to be examined.
The parameters of the tube are visible on the LCD screen.
    B) Section switches. Each of the nine switches is directly connected consecutively to the pins of the bases Noval and Octal. By adjusting the switches, you set the functions to be sent to the various pins.
    C) Power of the filaments. Section filaments, provides the heater voltages for any type of valve radio. The voltage is adjustable from 1.6 V to over 51v. The maximum current is 3.5 A.

To test a tube, you set the switches, as corresponding to the schema of the valve to be tested.
You adjust the filament voltage, anode and bias.
At this point you can enter the tube to be examined.
Double-check that the voltages match those of the plate.
After about 30s reads the statement of the anode current of the tube under consideration.
"SURCHARGE". In case of abnormal operation of the electrodes, the void, or incorrect setting of parameters. On the LCD instrument will read the words "SURCHARGE". This indicates that the instrument is in a state of protection.
The instrument goes into protection, the anode voltage will be paused until the disappearance of the problem.
