  • Handset for PRC-10, RT-671/PRC-47, SEM-25/35 and many other field radios. Coiled cord (1.5 meters) ending in a straight U-77/U connector. Manufactured by different companies in the US and Europe. Nato Stock-No. 5965-00-163-9947. Several versions of this handset exist, identified by a letter in stead of the asterix between the parentheses, like H-33C/PT for the PRC-6, or just H-33/PT; see the description. All versions are fully interchangable, but some have 5 or 6 foot flex-cord , and since the sixties a coiled-cord with the H-33F/PT version. They were all black until the seventies, when they came with a green colour. German made for PRC-8 had a suffix, H-33E/PT-GY, and French made for ER-40 had a suffix, H-33/PT-Fr. The same handset, but with different connectors got different names.
