  • Radio transmitter, part of AN/ARC-5 "Command Set". 7,0 - 9,1 MHz, up to 40 W A1/A2/A3. Powered by DY-8/ARC-5 dynamotor installed on MD-7/ARC-5 modulator unit. Remotely controlled by C-29/ARC-5 control box.

    The transmitter is the successor of the BC-459, which is part of radio set SCR-274-N. It's specifications and technical setup is very similar, but the BC-459 can not be replaced by the T-22/ARC-5.
