Hello, I repaired a Selena radio model B-215, with inoperative FM.
Initially when injecting 10.7Mhz signal after the converter, it had no sound.
After reviewing almost all the components of the IF preamp and the common IF, when measuring the capacitors that are in parallel with the primaries of the IF coils, I found them with very deviant values. In particular, one of them had to measure 26 pF and its measurement was 174pF.
When changing it I already had sound, but very low, so I directly changed the rest of the capacitors, achieving a more powerful sound.
After an adjustment of the IF transformers, the radio rang in all its glory.

I leave you a video of the repair, it is in Spanish, but graphically you can see the type of capacitor it is and its location.

Kind regards.

I have the schematics and the board overlays for this lovely radio but no alignment instructions and it does need to tweaked as the FM sounds distorted and difficult to get tuned in correctly and the other bands are also affected and sounds like a motorboat at times. Does anyone have these instructions or can offer any advice on how to go about it please?
