  • Aviator II combined VHF receiver and direction finder, complete with miniature earphone, leather carrying case, batteries, removable mounting brackets and 3 telescopic whip antennas. Tunable rotatable ferrite bar, gain and squelch control, tuning indicator.

    Neither is very suitable for Europe as approximately 300kHz to 400KHz is virtually unused and 200KHz to 300KHz is only upper part of Region 1 LW Broadcast band (no LW Broadcast Band in North America). Both are mainly for USA Aeronautical Monitoring and US AM broadcast band, including USA extended AM, despite some marketing / import to UK.
