  • The Philco Model T-9 Code 126 is a Battery operated 9 transistor portable AM Receiver. Frequency Coverage is 540KHz to 18.2MHz seperated into seven bands:
    Broadcast: 540-1620KHz
    Shortwave 1: 2.0-4.0MHz
    Shortwave 2: 4.0-8.0MHz
    31 Meter: 9.4-9.9MHz
    25 Meter: 11.4-12.0MHz
    19 Meter: 14.8-15.6MHz
    16 Meter: 17.2-18.2MHz
    This model has Qty(1) 5.5" PM speaker. Earphone jack disconnects the speaker for private listening. Uses Qty(4) 1.5V D cells for the main 6V supply and Qty(2) 1.5V D cells for a separate stabilized oscillator supply to assure minimum frequency variation. Cabinet is Leather-like material over wood. Philco's first transistorized shortwave portable radio. Dial is unique in that the logging scale slides below each band as it is selected.
