  • Mono CRT TV for 405 lines (System A). Preset channels rotary tuner for Band I and Band III VHF. The tuner is the same as the VT14C. There is a Type 47 Adaptor to add the tuner to VT2, VT4, VT7, VT7CD and VT7CDL to upgrade from Band I only to Band I & Band III as Band III transmissions (ITV) commenced in 1955.

    There are three models in the Luxury 17 range, this table model (VT17) and two styles of consoles with doors, VT17CD (traditional) and VT17CDL (contemporary). There are similar chassis 21" CRT models the VT21C and VT21CD. R&TVS refers to VT21 for additional information hence three references.
