  • The /01 chassis is fitted with EF36 preamp tubes. This late /10 chassis has EF40 tubes. The EF40 sockets are on metal plate adapters to cover the bigger holes on the chassis. This amplifier is identical to Philips France AM 500, but the tube cover has a different design.
