Information from Alan Douglas for this model: "According to the "Red Book", the RCA service manual 1931/32, this RCA model R-74 had a market introduction June 1932 with a list price of $ 73.75 and it was announced to dealers June 23, 1932 and June 28 1932 the sample shipments to dealers went out and date of stock shipments was June 30, 1932. This model was sold 8140 times."
