  • RCA Radio Telegraph Transmitter Model AP-595 From the Marine Department at RCA the Model AP-595 transmitter has been developed in order that ships now equipped with spark transmitters may obtain a continuous wave transmitter at minimal cost.

The Model AP-595 transmitter will cover a wave length band of 1550 to 2600 meters when used with an antenna having a fundamental wave length between 300 and 400 meters and a capacity from .0012 to .oo2 microfarad. T5he power which the Model AP-595 transmitter will deliver to an antenna having an effective resistance at 1800 meters of 3 to 5 ohms, is 200 to 350 watts.

According to Tyne, page 327/328 the UV204A arrived 1926. Therefore either the first tube line-up was different or the model arrived not before 1926.
