Diese Feldmessgeräte wurden für die Wehrmacht von mehreren Firmen gebaut (bekannt sind bisher Neuberger, Schoeller, Müller & Ziegler, Metrawatt).
Ruhstrat verwendete ein Messwerk von Excelsior Kiesewetter. Ob das komplette Modell auch dort gebaut wurde, ist bisher nicht bekannt.
