Michael Schott 21.Mar.05	1 sarapoul: Cosmos M ( Und bei den Amerikanern gab es doch noch einige mehr von diesen kleinen Radios. Ob das Design einfach nur abgekupfert ist? Hier mal der Link auf eine interessante Seite zu diesem Thema: http://www.transistor.org/collection/ Ich habe hier einige, vom Design nahezu gleiche Geräte gefunden. Dort finden sich einige Taschenradios, die dem "Cosmos" sehr verdächtig ähnlich sind. Ist aber auch so eine interessante Seite für alle, die in dieser Richtung sammeln. Michael Seiffert 22.Mar.05	3 Nachahmer Da wir das Thema "Cosmos" und deren Nachahmer letztens in unserer allabendlichen Funkrunde besprochen hatten, habe ich gestern von einem Funkfreund das kleine Gerät geschenkt bekommen. Hersteller Emperor, mir bisher nur als Funkgeräteproduzent bekannt. Etwas rundlicher und moderner, Innenleben auch anders aber trotzdem irgendwie ähnlich. M. Seiffert

Franz Gysi 08.Mar.05	1 unknown: Cosmos M ( Mein Gerät hat die Bezeichnung "Micro-Sonic 7" ohne weitere Herstellerbezeichnung. Sowohl auf der Verpackung als auch auf der Geräterückwand ist deklariert: Made in Hong Kong. Ich füge hier ein Bild bei, des Markennamens, der auf der Styroporverpackung erscheint. In UK wurde dieses Gerätchen offenbar unter der Marke "Yura" verkauft. Es scheinen auch ziemlich verschiedene Schaltungsvarianten zu existieren. Ich habe in meinem Gerätchen z.B. 4x10uF Elkos und 3x0.5uF Elkos vorgefunden, was von den bekannten Schaltbildern abweicht. Franz Gysi
Michael Seiffert 08.Mar.05	2 Logo Das auf allen für den Export vorgesehenen Geräten befindliche Logo ist das von MASHPRIBORINTORG, der zentralen staatlichen Gesellschaft für Im - und Export von im weitesten Sinne technischen Erzeugnissen im Maschienenbau und Elektroindustrie. Die Firma hat ihren Sitz in Moskau in der Smolenskaja-Sennia. (Strassenname ist warscheinlich jetzt ein anderer) siehe auch:http://www.mashpriborintorg.com/ Das Logo ist aber, wie schon erwähnt, leider nicht das Herstellerlogo. Wer die Geräte nun tatsächlich gebaut hat, bleibt also vorerst weiter im Dunkeln. Als Hersteller der Inlandvariante RUBIN ist auf dem Beipackzettel die Radiofabrik von Sarapul angegeben. Sarapul liegt an der Kama in der heutigen Udmurtischen Autonomen Republik. Zu Sowjetzeiten die ASSR der Wolgadeutschen. Ich warte, wie im anderen Thread zum gleichen Thema erwähnt, auf Antwort der russischen Sammlerkollegen . Dann können die betroffenen Modelle von "unbekannt" auf ihren tatsächlichen Hersteller umgestellt werden. M. Seiffert
Gabriel Toth 08.Mar.05	3 unknown: Cosmos M dear Colleges, I am watching some discussion around the model "Cosmos" and I would like to add some informations: Regarding the model name, the Soviet literature, "E.A. Levitin, L.E. Levitin: Radiovesthatelniye priyemniki, Energiya, Moskva, 1967" used model name Kosmos (or Cosmos). It seems, for the Soviet market this model was delivered since 1963 under Cosmos, since 1965 under Cosmos M. However, exists an another variant for LW band, propably produced only for Soviet market only, it is a reason of model Cosmos L in Radiomuseum.org. On www.rw6ase.narod.ru/rptp/kosmosm_m.html you could find more informations, unfortunately only in Russian. Short translation: At the beginning of 1962 in Sarapul Sergo Orjokinidze Radioworks, group of ingeneers, led by N.A. Isupov, began to construct a new types of transistorized low-size receivers. After many prototype samples since October 1963 began the production of model Cosmos. Receiver became very popular in Soviet Union and in foreign countries too (Cuba, Greece, Libya, Bulgaria, Jugoslawia, Afghanistan, Belgium, U.K.) The models were exposed on many exhibitions, for example Expo-70, Osaka, Japan. The models were produced in different colour and export variations, with different brackets, propably under different model names. kind regards Gabriel

I have received a mail from the author of the homepage given by you after which the device should have been produced in Sarapul, also to us all adequately known export variant. Now still it remains to clear which model is the ruby. With precise looking the difference strikes, the ruby has the same chassis, only other button cells and therefore an easily broader flap in the lid to the accumulator change. The rest is same to construction. The device was manufactured after the packaging, however, unambiguously for the SU and after the instructions likewise in Sarapul. Regards Michael

Mein kleiner "Nachahmer" aus Japan ist allerdings im Aufbau sehr verschieden und entschieden der bessere Empfänger als das sowjetische Gerät. Siehe beigefügte Bilder. Franz P.S. Die Ehre, bei der freundlichen Sarah Lowrey resp. http://www.transistor.org/collection/roamer/roamer1.html einen Detektorempfänger auszustellen, kam so: ich suchte einen Ersatzlautsprecher für meinen Zenith Royal 500, welchen mir Sarah auf einem US-Flohmarkt beschaffte. Als Gegenleistung habe ich ihr den kleinen "Roamer" Detektor geschickt. Sarah hat mir riesige Freude bereitet, diesen artfremden Empfänger zwischen Transistorempfängern unter prominenter Adresse zu präsentieren!

In Poland established in 1935 , in Warszawa , adress Vareskej No 1 . It was company only "on paper", all components , all personal , all radio sets storage was by Philips company. It way in to action with monopoly. All radio get logo KOSMOS for sell. Das Gerät wurde in der SU unter der Bezeichnung Rubin verkauft. Das Herstellerlogo ist aber gegenüber den Exportgeräten für die RGW-Staaten ein anderes. Die Exportgeräte für "den Rest der Welt" nannten sich ja Mikro-Sonic, wie ich dem Beitrag von Herrn Gysi entnehme.
Den exakten Firmennamen versuche ich gerade zu ermitteln, habe verschiedene Sammler in Russland angemailt und warte auf Antwort.
Ein Gerät in OVP für den Innlandmarkt als "Rubin " steht derzeit im hinlänglich bekannten Auktionshaus unter der Nummer 6515788847.
