It requires an "A-B"-battery (combination of 7.5 and 90 volts) Eveready 753 or Burgess F6A60 to operate on batteries. This Silvertone model is without battery. Color= Burgundy, also available in Arbor Green (model 223), Sun Tan (model 224) or in Glacier Gray (model 222).
