    The TS-288A is a custom made, modified Yaesu FT-101 early model, sold with the Sommerkamp label. Between 1972 and 1974 the production run of FT-101 was:

    The Sommerkamp TS-288A does not share the same boards internally as the FT-101E that was produced in 1975.
