On this radio, there is a audio transformer used as a choke (I'm guessing). The 45v+ was attached to one of the leads of the primary and the other went to the first audio transformer and to the plate on the detector tube.
I was normal to have an audio transformer there? I have seen that transformer used in older models of Stromberg. Did they use left overs to build this model?
Would this be a 1:3 or 1:4 transformer?
Was this a replacement of later days?

Thanks for your help
