  • The leaflet shows 7 models for different frequency ranges. The VHF radio converter models are 273 (26.9-30 MHz = CB-10), 308 (30-38 MHz), 375 (37-50 MHz), 504 (49.5-54.5 MHz = 6 M), 1450 (144-150 MHz = 2 M), 1828 Air Craft Model (118-128 MHz) and 1564 (150-164 MHz).
    The sales outlet for Tompkins Radio Products (TRP) is Herbert Salch & Co., Woodsboro, Texas.
    There is no connection with the receiver. The output is coupled via a short wire or resonate antenna, for instance with a coupling Loop 2.5 " in diameter fo #20 to 32 enamel wire C = 240 mmfd L = 18 turns for 1500 KC output or L = 34 turns for 830 KC output or L = 52 turns for 550 KC output.
    All VHF Tunaverters have a 3 section tuning capacitor. They were sold over several years - end date not known for sure.
