  • The 1919 Chicago Radio Laboratories Amplifigon is an audion control cabinet designed primarily for use with the Paragon regenerative receiver, but which may be used with an undamped set or even a loose coupler. The cabinet consists of a detector and a one step audion amplifier mounted on a Bakelite panel, in an oak cabinet. This version of the Amplifigon used two De Forest Tubular Audions.
