Suffixes to the common name 8G005 like Y, T Z etc are often not mentioned. The worst case is the log. It came in different issues according to the model updates. These are correctly reflected inside (e.g. the tube complement). But the front page for any issue displays only 8G005, nothing else.
The models differ in tube line up (oscillator/mixer, rectifier), and Waveband coverage (49 m band).
Suffix "B" indicates a separate subchassis for the voltage selection switch, located above variable condenser and tuning tower.
