"licensed for use only as a part of the Western Electric loud-speaking telephone outfit", e.g. type 7A or 10A amplifiers. Mu 6, 100 to 150V. Originally rated for 1500 hours life, then raised to 4000 hours. Intended for PA or radio amplifiers. May be the first WE tube with constant voltage filament.
