Description

Made by Kellogg for McCullough Sales Co.(McCullough was the inventor). Later (from 1929 on) manufactured by A.C.Neon Corp. of N.Y.City.
Very early AC tube. Battery set could be upgraded without deep modification, since the filament terminals were overhead, apart from the Chassis and its wiring.
Codex lists other 400' types, but not this AC type with indirect heated filament. The AC type 401 was made/sold by McCullough, Kellogg, Marathon, Marvin, and Sovereigh.
