| Description |
Es handelt sich um eine "Zweiplattenröhre". Die obere (mit Kappe verbunden) hat einen kleineren Abstand zum Heizfaden und dient zur Steuerung des Anodenstroms zur zweiten Platte.
Die alte Ausführung hat einen thorierten Heizfaden, gelblich leuchtend. Die neuere einen schwach leuchtenden Wolframfaden mit Bariumpaste.
