Description

In 1924 marketet tubes having both a name and a number. This tube: 6/100 Micro-Mètal. Note G-D-E-R etched on tube: Groupement pour le Dèveloppement des Èmissions Radiophoniques (Group for the development of broacasting), which existed from 1924 to 1929. This Organization was formed to give financial assistance to broadcasting stations before they had income from advertising. Funds were raised by a tax on all tubes sold in France - whether domestic foreign. Supporting manufacturers could brand their tubes with this mark.

Variants
