This soviet 6A7 is not identical to the standard worldwide known 6A7 (USA) . The usual 6A7 is also a heptode converter elctrically very close to this but very older, bigger (st shaped) AND with a different socket: it is not octal but the older late 20's - early 30's style 7 pin USA socket. This USSR tube seems to be just identical or very close to 6SA7, single ended octal heptode used in 1940.
